I don’t think most people are that lazy or stupid. They manage to achieve many other basic things in life that take the same skills it takes to read a temperature or write down an observation. As to your last (unpublished) comment–this isn’t the place for that conversation. We’re here to talk about women’s fertility, not debate a bad legal decision from 37 years ago. But to that end, may God change your heart and Our Lady of Guadalupe intercede for you now and at the hour of your death.

I think the point there is that most people are too lazy, too stupid and not responsible enough for the entire NFP process. That is how my cousin got pregnant before she was ready.

It’s true. I did “promote” her blog by posting links there. No more, though. I have to be honest, though, it probably ticked her traffic into the *high teens*, so I’m not too conflicted about it.

Rachel has a point, as much as I appreciate you posting her uneducated, un-researched, and pathetic description of NFP, we are probably just giving her more recognition that it’s worth. We’re better off just shaking our heads and continuing to promote truth in a world that clearly needs it, rather than stroking her ego. She’ll understand one day… Keep up the good work though! I just found your blog and love it!!

The science speaks for itself. So does the fact that more and more non-Catholics are interested in and appreciative of NFP. Praying that more people embrace this physically and emotionally healthy approach!

I commented. It sounds like she has something on her conscience that is bothering her. I know that before I started using NFP I sounded alot like her, and it was probably because I felt guilty about not using it. -DS

Dorothy, I agree. She’s operating from some deep wound. I bet she has father issues, and her father was prob Catholic….something like that anyway. Either that, or she’s post abortive, and is not dealing with it.–me

Hmmmm, so I commented on the original post and also provided a bunch of stats with links to the peer-reveiwed articles that back them up. (I also never brought up religion, but stuck to the science.) Interestingly, that never appeared on her page. However, her cut-and-pasted version of what everybody said did appear on her page. Interesting. I agree with so many of the comments above.–RA
