It really seems there are some informed consent issues with this since it's prescribed to millions upon millions of women yearly w/ little or no mention of the seriousness of some of the side effects. In fact, one medical professional has written and published a paper to this effect, particularly focusing on the abortafacient effect, which is never mentioned to women. So, are your co-workers getting off the Pill, and are they open to natural methods? Agreed, Jeanne! All from the birth control pill. None of the women knew this was a side effect (all felt a little angry about this). Doctors really need to tell women these things before subscribing pills.
