Natural Family Planning Program Coordinator – Family Life-Respect Life Office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for Coordinating the Natural Family Planning Program, this includes:
· administering the program (coordinating all of the NFP classes throughout the archdiocese),
· recruiting and training NFP teachers and promoting couples,
· organizing NFP presentations at marriage preparation sessions,
· networking with health care professionals,
· promoting NFP among the clergy and general public,
· developing educational and promotional materials
· public speaking to various groups on NFP, the Theology of the Body, and Chastity,
· teaching NFP to individuals and groups
· Phone work with individuals – calls re. NFP classes/methods, IVF, etc.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree, a good knowledge of Church teaching on issues regarding marriage and family, the theology of the body, natural family planning and pro-life issues. Some familiarity with the various methods of NFP, an acceptance of the NFP lifestyle and desire to promote it throughout the archdiocese required. Some studies in marriage and family life or previous experience necessary.
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Desire to evangelize: to make use of the programs as a means to introduce people to the person and saving action of Jesus Christ.
Strong social and organizational skills, ability to work independently, to teach and to motivate others. Must be willing and able to support the Office’s mission for family life and respect for all human life.

Job Description:
An individual who promotes wellness by holistically addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a population in the setting of a community agency. Based on assessed needs, the nursing process is used to plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals, families, and/or groups.
· RN must hold a current RN license issued by the state of Wisconsin
· A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or attendance in a BSN completion program within one year of hire
· Minimum of 5 years experience in acute care nursing
· Attendance at an approved Parish Nurse preparatory course
· Some community nursing experience preferred
· Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
· Possesses basic computer skills.
