Detailed Work Schedule: Exempt at 72 hours per 2 week pay period. One weekend per month.

Job Description:
An individual who promotes wellness by holistically addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a population in the setting of a community agency. Based on assessed needs, the nursing process is used to plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals, families, and/or groups.

· RN must hold a current RN license issued by the state of Wisconsin
· A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or attendance in a BSN completion program within one year of hire
· Minimum of 5 years experience in acute care nursing
· Attendance at an approved Parish Nurse preparatory course
· Some community nursing experience preferred
· Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
· Possesses basic computer skills.

CCL's New Look

Just heard that Andrew Alderson, ED for the Couple to Couple League (CCL) resigned effective March 24, 2009 to be with family during a health crisis. While Alderson  will work for CCL as a senior project manager, CCL will be looking for someone to fill this position long term.

The Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Rockford (Illinois) is seeking a full time professional to assume the duties of NFP Coordinator beginning July 1, 2008. The Diocese includes 11 counties in Northern Illinois. We have 105 parishes and approximately 400,000 registered Catholics. Our Bishop is very supportive and has issued a pastoral norm requiring all engaged couples to complete an NFP Seminar before marriage.

Rockford is 80 miles NW of Chicago and is a very affordable place to live.

Our program was granted DDP/NFP endorsement in 2005. We have teachers in Creighton, CCL and our own Diocesan method and are open to all standard methods of instruction.

Total fidelity to Church teaching, excellent speaking /writing skills and a valid driver’s license are a must. Fluency in Spanish desired, but not required. Competitive salary and benefits.
